Versioning

The version is in the path: /v1.

Within /v1, Dnero only adds. New endpoints, new optional request fields, new response fields, new error codes. Your integration should:

  • ignore response fields it does not know,
  • treat an unknown error code by its HTTP status.

Nothing is removed or changes meaning within /v1. A change that would break an integration - removing a field, changing a type, making an optional field required - waits for /v2. When that comes, /v1 keeps working, and its responses carry a Deprecation header and a Sunset header with the date it will stop.
